The RoLe4D project (Robot Learning in 4 Dimensions) has been running since September 2022. The goal of the project is to increase the practical content and learning success and to enable more students to access robotics. To achieve these goals, new interactive and immersive technologies and methods are to be used and evaluated so that the interaction of different learning locations is as conducive to learning as possible. This is to be achieved with a 4-stage concept: Stage 1 includes learning and explainer videos (based on the findings from TOURINGS) on theoretical aspects of robotics, based on the needs of the students. Stage 2 involves students learning to interact with and operate the robot in a safe environment in VR. Stage 3 involves learning to program in the native language via the KUKA Sim software. The programs developed there will then be tested on the real robot in the 4th stage. The project is implemented in close cooperation with the students in order to serve their needs in the best possible way.
